Program Notes:

In April of 2024, much of the eastern United States was in the path of a total solar eclipse. My piece, Sunrise from Space was written for Bowling Green State University’s Total Solar Eclipse Watch Party at Doyt L. Perry Stadium. I wanted to create something inspired by planetarium music, beautiful, slow moving music with lush pads and “sparkles” that inspires a sense of awe and wonder.
