Digital Forest is a sonic simulation of a strange pseudo-natural world. Birds, insects, and rain can be heard throughout the environment. As the piece unfolds, everything begins sounding less natural. Just as a picture never truly captures the beauty of the moment, we cannot recrate the natural world once it’s gone.
